Taylor Family

I had the honor of being asked to do a family photoshoot for some very good friends of mine.  Kristi and I have been friends since 7th grade.  Her husband, Brian, and my husband have been friends forever as well.  In fact...they are the ones who introduced me to my husband...almost 16 years ago!!  They have two awesome kids that my kids absolutely LOVE, and we have such a good time with them all.

This photoshoot was no different.  I had an absolute blast with the variety of settings at a park along the Columbia River...and the fact they were all willing to try different poses and do some things that were outside their comfort zone was so refreshing (especially the kids).  They really made the day enjoyable.

I just can't say enough about how much fun I had.  Thank you so much guys!!  Love you all!!

The Beginning

I am starting on a new endeavor.

For approximately the past 15 years, I've been dabbling in photography.  A class here, a workshop there...reading, studying, practicing.  I had always dreamed it would someday become something I would do on a more serious level.

I have decided that "someday" is now.

Much of my experience to this point has been landscapes or pictures of family life.  Recently I have started delving into kiddo & family pictures, and have even had a few "gigs".  I am pretty much interested in exploring as much of the various "fields" of photography that I can...families, seniors, babies, kids, weddings, editorial/commercial, landscape, etc.  I want to try it all!

SO, to share my vision, my "eye"...I have started this website.

For those who may wish to let me "practice" on them, I welcome that opportunity and hope that you will contact me.

For fellow photographers, constructive criticism is ALWAYS welcome...I'm a work in progress and love learning new tricks!

Here it is...the beginning.  I hope you enjoy!!
