Miss Kait...SENIOR!

Watch out world...this girl is graduating and ready to take you on!  This is Miss Kait, and she is amazing.  She is a senior, and has simultaneously been working towards her Associates degree.  She is gorgeous, has a great personality and sense of humor, and is no dummy!!  We also have a favorite show in common....ANTM (or for those who don't watch...America's Next Top Model).  We were throwing around "Tyra-isms" during the shoot and had so much fun!  She really knows how to work angles and gave me so much variety in her pics that it was difficult to narrow them down and

Thanks Miss Kait (and momma Krystal) for a great day!

That's right, girl....gimme that SMYZE!!!

Taylor Kids

I'm doing some catching up on a few photoshoots I've done in the past couple of months.

In September, I had the pleasure of again working with these two awesome kiddos and their two cousins.  I love the enthusiasm and willingness to try different things they have...they just go with the flow.  A photographer's dream!!

Proof is in the pictures...we had a good time!!
I love this picture because of the spontaneity and pure sibling fun it captured!

In Remembrance

On this day, and every day...remembering all those who lost their lives that day as well as those who continue to risk their lives for us on a daily basis. Thank you to the soldiers who fight to protect us and our country. Thank you to the fire fighters who are truly "first responders" and whose dedication to those they serve is unwavering. Thank you to the police officers who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving our families. Thank you to the families of every day heros who give their lives and go above and beyond to help their fellow man.  Words will never be enough...

Miss M's First Communion

This girl is a CHAMP and was a joy to photograph!  It was a very cool evening, and with her short sleeves, goosebumps emerged quickly...towards the end of the shoot, her hands and lips were starting to show the cold as well.  Through it all, she wanted MORE...she wanted to pose more (with prayer-folded hands), she wanted more pictures, more locations.  At one point we were playing with some backlighting from the setting sun.  We were commenting on how it looked like she was glowing and she asked "Do I look like one of the disciples??".
I love her devotion, her commitment, and the love that she shows those around her.

Here are some of my favorites from the shoot:

Taylor Family

I had the honor of being asked to do a family photoshoot for some very good friends of mine.  Kristi and I have been friends since 7th grade.  Her husband, Brian, and my husband have been friends forever as well.  In fact...they are the ones who introduced me to my husband...almost 16 years ago!!  They have two awesome kids that my kids absolutely LOVE, and we have such a good time with them all.

This photoshoot was no different.  I had an absolute blast with the variety of settings at a park along the Columbia River...and the fact they were all willing to try different poses and do some things that were outside their comfort zone was so refreshing (especially the kids).  They really made the day enjoyable.

I just can't say enough about how much fun I had.  Thank you so much guys!!  Love you all!!
